The Tata Agratas gigafactory is expected to supply almost half of the batteries needed by the UK’s automotive industry by the early 2030s

A 40-GWh gigafactory that will be established and operated by Tata Group’s global battery business Agratas is scheduled to come up at the 620-acre Gravity Smart Campus near Bridgwater in Somerset, UK, in 2026, National Grid said Feb. 11, on the sidelines of its announcement on the engineering project it is executing.
