MAHLE Powertrain begins testing hydrogen engines for heavy-duty trucks
Backed by a £9.8 million investment, the project aims to decarbonize haulage with hydrogen combustion engines, aligning with EU CO2 reduction targets
In a press release dated Feb. 13, MAHLE Powertrain announced that it has started testing and calibration of hydrogen combustion powertrains for heavy-duty trucks through Project Cavendish, backed by a £9.8 million investment from the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC).
