The SkaleD project is supported with a grant of about €2.1 million from the German government

EAS Batteries, along with its research partners including Manugy, Matthews International, the Fraunhofer-Institut für Keramische Technologien und Systeme IKTS and the Fraunhofer-Einrichtung Forschungsfertigung Batteriezelle FFB, have launched a project called SkaleD to further develop a process that directly coats electrodes in battery cell production, EAS announced Feb. 11.
