Following board approval, GM Cruise becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary, aiming to advance autonomous and assisted driving systems

As reported in a press release on Feb. 4, General Motors (GM) has successfully completed its acquisition of GM Cruise Holdings LLC, making Cruise a wholly-owned subsidiary of GM, following the approval of GM's merger proposal by the Cruise board of directors.
