Xiaomi Auto recalls 31,000 SU7 EVs over parking feature issue
The recall affects SU7 standard models due to a software error impeding the detection of static obstacles, despite their goal to sell 300,000 vehicles in 2025
As reported in a press release Jan. 21, Xiaomi Auto, a subsidiary of the Chinese electronics conglomerate Xiaomi, has announced a recall of approximately 31,000 of its SU7 standard edition electric vehicles due to issues with the autonomous parking feature. The recall, filed with China's State Administration for Market Regulation, affects SU7 standard models produced between Feb. 6, 2024, and Nov. 26, 2024. This does not impact other versions of the SU7.
