Adient's Q1 FY 2024/25 revenue declines 5% year over year to $3.5 billion
The US-based seating supplier has revised full-year financial guidance for FY 2024/25, expecting revenue of $13.9 billion.
Adient has reported 5% year-over-year decline in revenue to $3.5 billion in the first quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, mainly driven by lower vehicle production volume and unfavorable product mix. The US-based seating supplier recorded a 16% year-over-year drop in its earnings before interest and taxes to $93 million. Adient concluded the first quarter at breakeven, compared to net income of $20 million during the same period a year earlier.
