General Motors (GM) has initiated a recall for the all-wheel-drive variant of the model year 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV due to a malfunction in the adaptive cruise control system, which might not activate the brakes when necessary, according to Green Car Reports on Jan. 25. The recall, affecting 2,890 electric vehicles, was announced following the discovery of a software glitch.
