Leapmotor C10 launched in Australia without Apple CarPlay, Android Auto
The C10 SUV by Leapmotor, based on older technology, offers QDLink as an interim solution for smartphone mirroring; lacks popular mirroring apps
The Leapmotor C10, a midsize SUV developed by Leapmotor International for global markets beyond China, has been launched in Australia without the inclusion of popular smartphone mirroring technologies, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. According to Francesco Giacalone, the head of product and marketing at Leapmotor International, the current generation of the C10, despite being capable of receiving over-the-air updates, is built on an older technology platform that does not support these features. This limitation is attributed to the vehicle's technical hardware, which cannot be updated to accommodate Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
