Direct Assurance partners with Cambridge Mobile Telematics to expand YouDrive

Direct Assurance, a prominent online car insurance provider in France and a subsidiary of AXA France, announced Jan. 22, 2024, its collaboration with Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT), the largest telematics service provider globally, to enhance its connected insurance program, YouDrive. Introduced a decade ago as France's first connected car insurance program aimed primarily at young drivers, YouDrive has helped lower insurance costs by promoting safe driving, with its customers saving an average of €200 annually on premiums. The program has grown in popularity, with a 27% increase in users last year, reaching 60,000 policyholders, and has contributed to reducing crash rates by up to 31%.
