Some progress, but not enough, say Ford suppliers
The news from the ranks of its suppliers is disturbing for Ford – and for Tony Brown. Two years after announcing the Aligned Business Framework – the company's ambitious strategy for revamping the supply chain and introducing elements of collaborative Japanese-style purchasing – a comprehensive survey of supplier executives suggests that Ford has fallen well short of expectations.
