Ansys presented its simulation and digital engineering solutions at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 last week in Las Vegas, with the goal to advance the development of safer, smarter and more efficient vehicles. The company showcased its technology at its booth in West Hall, Las Vegas Convention Center, where visitors could explore demonstrations of simulation and digital engineering technology for software-defined vehicles (SDVs), advanced driver assistance systems, electromobility and more. The company claimed its simulation solutions have benefited 94% of the top 100 automotive suppliers by enabling faster design generation, digital engineering and advanced safety modeling.

Ansys’ key solutions at CES 2025 included Ansys SimAI, Ansys ConceptEV and Ansys Discovery 3D product simulation software. Ansys SimAI is a cloud-enabled generative AI platform that delivers reliable performance prediction of physics behavior at very high speed by leveraging Nvidia graphic processing units (GPUs). Ansys ConceptEV is all-in-one design and simulation platform to accelerate powertrain system development for electric vehicles. Ansys Discovery 3D is a product simulation tool that combines instant physics simulation, high-fidelity simulation and interactive geometry modeling in a single, easy-to-use experience.

Ansys is also focusing on the increasing reliance of SDVs on simulation for seamless system integration, demonstrating solutions for radio frequency channel and radar signature simulation, collaborations for sensor design testing, and safety solutions. At CES 2025, the company presented Ansys Perceive EM radio frequency channel and radar signature simulation software integrated with the Nvidia-accelerated shooting and bouncing ray solver for fast computation of electromagnetics. Ansys also demonstrated crash safety analysis using its Ansys LS-DYNA structural software and virtual human body models.

“Every day, Ansys solutions are enabling customers to push the boundaries of comfort, safety, and performance of next-generation mobility,” said Walt Hearn, senior vice president of Worldwide Sales and Customer Excellence at Ansys. “By enhancing connectivity, ensuring safety, and accelerating development, Ansys enables automotive innovators to create safer, more efficient, and technologically advanced vehicles. With Ansys, companies can flexibly adapt to market demands and quickly address customer needs.”
