US Transportation Department announces $635 million in new funding for EV charging, alternative fueling infrastructure
The new grants fund 49 projects that are slated to deploy more than 11,500 EV charging ports and hydrogen and natural gas fueling infrastructure across 27 states
The US Transportation Department's (US DOT) Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has approved $635 million in grants to continue building electric vehicle charging and alternative fueling infrastructure with funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s signature zero-emission refueling infrastructure programs, the DOT announced Jan. 10.
