Mahindra has created and validated a backup for every semiconductor chip used in the two EV models as part of its learnings from the infamous global chip shortage

Mumbai-based carmaker Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) has de-risked its semiconductor supply chain for its new electric vehicles BE 6 and XEV 9e, according to a news report published by the Business Standard newspaper on Jan. 9.
