To address the issue, GM will update the software of the body control modules in the affected vehicles

General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2025 Chevrolet Equinox electric vehicles in the US due to an issue with their pedestrian warning systems, which may not be loud enough to comply with federal safety standards.
