Mercedes-Benz DRIVE PILOT gets German approval for 95 km/h Level 3 automated driving
The updated system, certified for conditional automated driving, will be available in the S-Class and EQS in early 2025
According to a press release on Dec. 17, Mercedes-Benz has obtained approval from the German Federal Motor Transport Authority for the updated version of its DRIVE PILOT system, marking it as the fastest certified system for conditionally automated driving (SAE-Level 3) in a standard production vehicle.
