Bosch to kickstart semiconductor production in California with federal support
Securing $225 million from the 2022 CHIPS Act, Bosch plans a $1.9 billion investment in converting a facility for silicon carbide chip production by 2026
Bosch is set to convert a facility in Northern California, US, into a site dedicated to producing and testing silicon carbide semiconductors, thanks to funding from the 2022 CHIPS and Science Act, according to a report published by Automotive News on Dec. 16.
