Posco and Hancock to build lithium plant for EV batteries
The plant, with a 30,000-metric ton capacity, aims to support EV battery production amid global EV demand slowdown
Posco Holdings Inc. and Hancock Prospecting, an Australian mining company, announced a joint endeavor on Dec. 10 to establish a lithium production plant with an annual output capacity of 30,000 metric tons, aimed at serving the electric vehicle battery market.
