Bosch plans to lay off over 5,500 people worldwide, including 3,800 in Germany
The German supplier is also considering reducing the working hours and pay of nearly 10,000 employees in Germany
Robert Bosch has announced plans to lay off up to 5,500 people globally in its Mobility Sector business over the next few years, including 3,800 in Germany, in response to weak vehicle demand and rising competition from Chinese companies, Reuters reported Nov. 22.
