CATL in talks to set up a battery recycling plant in Europe
In September 2022, CATL signed a land prepurchase agreement with the Hungarian city of Debrecen
Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL), the largest battery-maker from mainland China, is in talks to set up battery recycling operations in Europe, according to a news report published by CnEVPost on Nov. 20.
