While production of the Kona has been halted due to parts shortage, the Ioniq 5 production has been suspended due to a slowdown in EV sales

South Korean automaker Hyundai has temporarily suspended the production of its popular model Kona due to a strike at its key supplier Hyundai Transys, resulting in shortage of parts, Business Korea reported Nov. 5.
