Toyota and NTT invest $3.26 billion in AI for autonomous vehicles
The investment aims to develop AI software to enhance safety in autonomous vehicles, with a functional system expected by 2028
Toyota Motor and Japan's Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) have announced plans to invest ¥500 billion (about $3.26 billion) in research and development aimed at creating AI software to enhance autonomous driving capabilities, according to a report published by Nikkei Asia on Oct. 28.
