Toyota Kirloskar Motor to invest $2.5 billion on a new EV plant in Maharashtra, India
The upcoming electric and hybrid car manufacturing plant is expected to commence production operations from January 2026
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. (TKM), which is an Indian joint venture between Japan’s largest automaker Toyota Motor Corp. and India’s Kirloskar Group, has been allotted a land parcel of 827 acres for a new manufacturing plant in the western state of Maharashtra, India, according to a news report published by PTI on Oct. 7.
