Major Chinese tech companies reduce US road tests ahead of the new Commerce Department ban on autonomous driving software

China's prominent autonomous driving technology companies, including major players such as Baidu and Didi Chuxing, have significantly reduced or altogether ceased their road tests in the US, according to a report published by South China Morning Post on Oct. 2.
