The 256-GB AM9C1 boasts fast speed, integrating advanced V-NAND technology, a 5-nm controller and SLC mode option

Samsung Electronics has successfully developed what is said to be the industry’s first Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) 4.0 automotive SSD based on eighth-generation vertical NAND (V-NAND), as reported in a press release on Sept. 24.
