AE Elemental opens lithium-ion battery recycling plant in Poland
The newly opened facility can process 12,000 metric tons of used Li-ion batteries each year
AE Elemental, a joint venture of US-based Ascend Elements and Poland-based Elemental Strategic Metals, has opened its first commercial-scale electric vehicle battery recycling facility in Zawiercie, Poland, Ascend Elements announced Sept. 19.
