Toyoda Gosei announces investment in new manufacturing plant in Karnataka, India
The new plant set for 2026 aims to meet rising automobile demand, focusing on safety systems and efficiency through automation
Toyoda Gosei has announced plans to invest ¥2.05 billion ($14.5 million) in a new manufacturing plant in Harohalli, Karnataka, India, to cater to the growing demand for safety systems and interior components in the country. This new plant will operate as a branch of Toyoda Gosei South India Pvt. Ltd., with production expected to commence in 2026. The plant will employ about 580 people by 2027.
