In a press release dated Sept. 17, SES AI Corporation, a global entity specializing in high-performance lithium-metal batteries, announced an initiative aimed at accelerating material discovery within the electric transportation sector. The initiative seeks to utilize a supercomputer optimized for AI to map the universe of small molecules, which could lead to advancements in battery chemistry and energy storage solutions. This project is a collaboration with Crusoe, NVIDIA and Supermicro, leveraging Crusoe's AI cloud platform, which is powered by NVIDIA and Supermicro technology.
