The new centre focuses on passive safety systems, aiming to boost local manufacturing and engineering innovation in India

ZF Lifetec, the passive safety systems business division of the ZF Group, has inaugurated a new Global Competency Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, Autocar Professional reported on Sept. 12. The center, situated in Gachibowli's Wipro Circle, is dedicated to bringing innovations in passive safety systems, including airbags, seat belts and steering systems. It focuses on the integration of software, electronics and mechanical design to cater to both the India market and international clientele.
