Southern California Edison, Ford team up to enable EV owners to assist power grid during peak demand
EV drivers in Ford’s California Power Response program will earn $1 per kilowatt-hour of energy reduced during peak grid events
Ford Motor Co. has signed an arrangement with Southern California Edison (SCE) in which Ford’s EV owners and lessees in SCE’s service area can be compensated for assisting the electric grid during peak periods of energy demand.
