Sigma Lithium secures 487 million Brazilian real loan for Greentech Plant
Funds will double Sigma's lithium production in Brazil, with construction aiming for completion by summer 2025 and a low interest rate
Sigma Lithium has secured a 487 million Brazilian real ($86.5 million) development loan from the National Brazilian Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) for the construction of their Second Greentech carbon neutral plant in Brazil. This funding will support Sigma in doubling its production capacity of the Quintuple Zero Green Lithium from 270,000 to 520,000 metric tons per year.
