A team of scientists at the US Energy Department's (DOE's) Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) has developed a flexible, durable sheet of solid-state electrolyte membrane — a strong, yet springy, thin film — using polymer, in an effort to advance the overall development of sulfide-based solid-state battery technology, according to a press note issued by ORNL on Aug. 27.
