Rhode Island, US, gets $15 million in federal funding to expand public EV charging infrastructure
As part of the program, about 206 new EV chargers will be installed at 85 charging sites across Rhode Island
US Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse, and Governor Dan McKee announced Aug. 26 that $15 million in new federal funding will be provided to the Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) for installation of more than 200 new electric vehicle charging stations.
