LG Chem develops new flame-retardant plastics
The plastics have received the V-0 rating in the standard flame-retardant test UL 94 for UL certification in the US
LG Chem has developed an eco-friendly, perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)-free flame-retardant polycarbonate/acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (PC/ABS) material that has been made from recycled plastics, the company announced in a press release on Aug. 12.
