Japanese automakers Honda Motor and Nissan Motor are leading initiatives to develop supply chains for recycled plastic in the automotive industry, aiming to address sustainability concerns and upcoming European regulations that propose at least 25% of the plastic in new vehicles be recycled by 2031.
