Hyundai’s planned EV assembly plant is expected to commence production operations in 2026

South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor Co. plans to invest 1 billion baht (about $28 million) to set up an assembly plant for electric vehicles and EV batteries in Thailand, according to a news report published by a local news outlet Bangkok Post on Aug. 7.
