The strike at Lear's Missouri factory halts GM's Wentzville plant operations; tentative deal includes wage increases for 500 workers

The United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 282, which represents nearly 500 union workers in Lear’s manufacturing plant in Wentzville, Mo., has reached a tentative agreement with the company’s management, ending a strike that lasted nearly three days, The Detroit Free Press reported July 25.
