Zeekr mulls producing EVs in Europe to avoid tariffs

Premium electric-car maker Zeekr is evaluating the possibility of producing cars in factories linked to its parent Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. in Europe to avoid the new provisional tariffs imposed by the European Commission on electric vehicle imports from mainland China, according to a news report published by Bloomberg on July 19.
