Singapore to ban new diesel cars and taxis from 2025
Diesel vehicles registered before Jan. 1, 2025, will have the option to renew their Certificate of Entitlement
In an initiative aimed at transitioning toward cleaner energy vehicles by 2040, the Ministry of Transport announced during the Committee of Supply 2021 that Singapore will prohibit the registration of new diesel cars and taxis starting from 2025.
