Hyundai Motor, LG Energy Solution launch EV battery cell plant in Indonesia
Hyundai and LG Energy announced in 2021 that the two companies will jointly invest $1.1 billion to build a battery cell production plant in Indonesia's West Java province
South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company and battery maker LG Energy Solution (LGES) have launched their joint electric vehicle battery cell production plant in Indonesia, according to a news report published by the news agency Reuters on July 3.
