Nyobolt unveils EV prototype with ultra-fast charging technology
Cambridge-based Nyobolt's EV prototype charges from 10% to 80% in under five minutes
Nyobolt, a Cambridge-based company founded in 2019, has made a significant leap from laboratory research to real-world application by unveiling a drivable electric vehicle (EV) prototype that showcases its ultra-fast charging battery technology. This technology, developed in collaboration with CALLUM, aims to make long charging times a thing of the past by allowing EVs to charge from 10% to 80% state-of-charge in just under five minutes using a 350-kW DC charger, a speed twice as fast as the fastest-charging vehicles currently available.
