Ola Electric does not produce its own cells and sources batteries from South Korea's LG Energy Solution and mainland China's largest battery maker CATL

India’s Ola Electric is working to develop solid-state batteries and expects some of its vehicles to be powered by its own battery cells in 2025, according to a news report published by Reuters on June 29. The news story cites Bhavish Aggarwal, founder and chairman of the SoftBank Group-backed Ola Electric.
