Toyota recalls 145,000 SUVs over airbag deployment issue
The automaker will reach out to the affected vehicle owners by mid-August to notify them about the recall and the subsequent steps to address the issue
Toyota has issued a voluntary recall of some 145,000 units of model year 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander and Lexus TX sport utility vehicles in the US to fix side curtain airbags which may not deploy properly in certain crash scenarios, the automaker said in a press release June 20.
