Ansys unveils ConceptEV for improved EV powertrain development

ConceptEV aims to enhance electric vehicle performance and reduce development costs through a unified system model for design optimization

In a press release dated 20 June, Ansys announced that it has developed ConceptEV™, a novel software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution designed to bolster the development of electric vehicle (EV) powertrains. The solution will offer enhancements in driving range and battery charge times. Positioned as a significant tool for the automotive concept design stage, ConceptEV™ specializes in the simultaneous optimization of key EV powertrain components including the battery, inverter, motor, and transmission.
