Renesas Electronics has unveiled the R-Car Open Access (RoX) platform, designed to accelerate the development of software-defined vehicles (SDVs) by providing a comprehensive set of tools and software needed for automotive developers. The platform, which supports Renesas' R-Car family of system on chips (SoCs) and microcontroller (MCUs), simplifies the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) applications and reduces the development complexities for automakers and tier 1 suppliers.
