According to a press release on June 11, L&T Technology Services (LTTS) and the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at propelling industry and academic advancements in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and cellular vehicle-to-everything (CV2X) communication.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in the automotive sector, introducing cutting-edge technologies in ADAS and CV2X. The collaboration will leverage the combined expertise of LTTS and IIT Hyderabad to foster research and development, with a focus on enhancing road safety, efficiency and the overall driving experience.

The joint initiative will delve into state-of-the-art features within ADAS, including collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, pedestrian detection and adaptive cruise control. Emphasis will be placed on the integration of AI-driven algorithms and sensor technologies to improve real-time hazard recognition and response capabilities. Additionally, the project will advance robust communication frameworks for CV2X communication.
