Gestamp partners with Salzgitter for low-emission steel supply
Gestamp focuses on low-CO2 steel production using Salzgitter's SALCOS process
In a press release dated 5 June, Spanish multinational Gestamp said that it has partnered with Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH to supply auto manufacturers with low emission steel parts. Gestamp intends to develop circularity routes to combine steel deliveries to its European plants with the return of scrap from these sites, enhancing its business model with circular economy principles.
