Renault, Geely set up joint venture for hybrid, combustion engines
The venture aims to achieve net-zero emissions with hybrid and combustion powertrain solutions, with the ambition to reach about €15 billion yearly revenue
Following an agreement inked in July 2023, Renault Group and mainland Chinese automaker Geely have established a joint venture named HORSE Powertrain Ltd., Renault announced in a press release May 31. Both Renault and Geely will have a 50% stake in HORSE Powertrain.
