PPG to invest $300 million in new manufacturing plant in US to meet growing demand for paints and coatings
The 250,000 square feet plant, scheduled to become operational in 2026, will produce more than 11 million gallons of paints and coatings annually
PPG will invest $300 million in a new manufacturing plant in the US to support the growing demand of automotive paints and coatings, the company said in a press release May 21. The company will establish the new plant in Loudon County, Tenn. Construction of the 250,000 square-foot plant will commence in August and is expected to be complete in 2026.
