Bart Sap appointed CEO of Umicore
Bart Sap, who has been with Umicore since 2004, will replace Mathias Miedreich
Umicore appointed Bart Sap its chief executive officer, effective May 16. Sap will be taking over from Mathias Miedreich, who has mutually agreed with the supervisory board to step down. Miedreich will continue to offer advice to Umicore in the coming months. Sap, who joined Umicore in 2004, has been executive vice president, Catalysis since March 2021.
