HMI introduces high-side switch for automotive applications
The device regulates output current and limits power consumption for reliability in automotive scenarios
HMI, a provider of advanced analog and power-management technologies, has launched the HL8518, a single-chip, 80-milliohm high-side switch designed for automotive applications requiring power switches for low-wattage lamps, high-side relays and valves, as well as general resistive, inductive and capacitive loads, according to a press release on April 30.
